Committees

If you want to propose a project, get more involved, or have something changed, this is a great place to start! Most of the church's work is done in committees, and every committee would truly welcome your ideas and especially, your help.  Committees meet the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall. Your attendance is welcome.

Music & Worship - The music and worship committee handles all aspects of worship from choosing liturgists to sanctuary decorations.

Outreach - The outreach committee works to spread the Good News to the community by marketing and advertising the church, and welcoming visitors and new members.

Mission - The Mission committee examines the needs of the community and decides which projects the Hope congregation will pursue to help meet them. More...........

Christian Education - The Christian Education committee consists of three subcommittees to educate all age groups, children - youth - adult. More............

Fellowship - The Fellowship committee plans events to bind the congregation together, from picnics to Bunko nights and potluck dinners. More............

Buildings and Grounds - The Buildings and grounds committee is responsible for the church maintenance.  If you like painting, lawn care, remodeling, plumbing or electrical work, this is a great place for you.

Finance - Enjoy working with numbers? You've found the perfect spot. Finance collects the weekly offreing and reports to Session and the congregation.

Stewardship - If you enjoy helping others to give of themselves -- whether it's money, time, or talent -- this is your place.

Personnel - Personnel is responsible for ensuring that the church is appropriately staffed and compensated.
